Wizard Tower - 16x16 Pixel Art Tileset

Welcome to the Wizard Tower, a detailed 16x16 pixel art tileset for side-scrolling games. It covers a whole tower in cross-section, from the observatory attic down through the study and the alchemy lab, plus the outside of the tower with a slate roof and lit windows. Candles, fires, the bubbling cauldron, the owl and the cat are all animated.

🌲 Sister pack: the Enchanted Forest tileset uses the same 16px grid, outline and palette, so the tower can sit at the edge of a magic forest.

NEW in v1.1: a whole second example scene, a timber-framed house joined to a stone tower wing (attic, bedroom, parlour, kitchen, dining hall, cellar, study, armoury, alchemy lab, vault and yards), 11 animated characters to live in it, 60 more tiles and 48 more props. Free for everyone who already bought the pack.

45 new props, 21 of them animated: an orrery that turns, floating candles, a scrying orb, a spinning wheel, a cuckoo clock, a sleeping hound, a mouse peeking out of its hole and more. Notes

Every tile and prop is drawn pixel by pixel by our own pixel-art tooling, using hand-picked colour ramps on a strict 16px grid. No AI image generators were used. If you'd like a tile or prop added, tell us in the comments; updates are free for everyone who bought the pack.
